Full Time Oncology Veterinary Technician

The ideal candidate will have their CVT and a minimum of 2 years of experience. We offer a competitive benefits package which includes paid time off. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills in relating to co-workers, clinicians, staff and clients. Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team. Following direction and prioritizing the workload while maintaining attention to detail is a necessity. Candidate should have a good understanding of medical terminology and familiarity with veterinary pharmacology. Prior experience with restraint, treatment protocols and anesthesia & post-operative patient care is strongly preferred. Technical abilities should include; patient restraint, good venipuncture skills, knowledge of fluid administration, medicating, monitoring and treating a variety of patients. Candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with a professional attitude. Special Work Schedule Requirements: This position is scheduled for 36-40 hours/week. Includes rotating holidays, weekends & some on call shifts. Candidate must be flexible with schedule changes.

Full Time Veterinary Assistant

Full time experienced Veterinary Assistant needed. Qualified candidates are personable, organized, confident, skilled, and able to work in a dynamic fast paced environment. The Neurology service is looking for a highly motivated, experienced veterinary assistant, Duties include assisting with treatments, obtaining radiographs, processing lab samples, cleaning and preparation of surgical equipment, maintaining inventory, managing flow of appointments, and assisting technicians in preparation for surgery and MRI. The veterinary assistant works collaboratively with the clinicians and support staff to provide the clientele with excellent clinical and customer services. Good communication skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines while working in a busy environment are a must. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of veterinary assistant experience. We offer a competitive benefits package which includes paid time off. Neurology Technician Wanted

Basic Requirements: A High school diploma or the equivalent with minimum of one year experience in a veterinary hospital. Basic computer skills, strong math skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills in relating to co-workers, clinicians, staff and clients. Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications: Two plus years experience in a small animal practice. A degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent and CVT license is preferred. Candidate should possess exceptional customer & client communication skills. Following direction and prioritizing the workload while maintaining attention to detail is a necessity. Candidate should have a good understanding of medical terminology and familiarity with veterinary pharmacology. Prior experience with restraint, treatment protocols and anesthesia & post-operative patient care is strongly preferred. Technical abilities should include; patient restraint, good venipuncture skills, knowledge of fluid administration, medicating, monitoring and treating a variety of patients.
